Customer Experience is becoming an ever more mainstream concept and part of any customer focused company’s core proposition.

This is good in that not only do customers benefit from a better experience but also companies’ understanding of what motivates customers to switch to their brand and stay loyal is increasing. However, competition between companies is fierce and staying ahead is tough.

Detail

This session will focus on growth and innovation around customer experience and will start with 3 excellent presentations from 3 excellent and experienced presenters. We’ll be considering questions such as:

  • How can simplicity and simplification help drive better customer experience and innovation?
  • What is the appropriate level of customer experience?
  • Is investment in customer experience always justified?
  • Can a company’s core proposition disrupt commonly held beliefs about customer experience?
  • How does mobile speed affect customer proposition?
  • Should you compare your customer experience be measured against your peers or the best that’s out there?

We’ll wrap up with a panel session, when we’ll be encouraging our audience to challenge our presenters views, it what is guaranteed to be a lively session.

About the speaker

Steve is an entrepreneur and business strategist, and has over 18 years experience starting, building and selling companies. His businesses have spanned consulting, outsourcing, recruitment technology and on-line games.

He is currently Co-Founder and Group COO of Xoomworks – a niche technology consulting and outsourcing business based in the UK, France, Romania and Bulgaria. Xoomworks works with high growth, tech driven companies and FTSE 100 businesses, to create competition-beating technology and implement core digital systems.

Prior to setting up his first company, Steve worked as a strategy consultant and IT project manager. Steve holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Applied Physics from Durham University. He is an Honorary Entrepreneurial Fellow at Durham University; a Fellow and Council member of the Global Sourcing Association and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

He is an active mentor and business advisor to several start-up companies; a mentor for Seedcamp; and mentor for L39 and a trustee for the Bright Ideas Trust, a charity dedicated to creating opportunities for entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Steve is a regular guest speaker on all facets of entrepreneurship at several European business schools including:

  • Durham University Business School – UK
  • INSEAD - France

He also speaks regularly at universities and schools in the UK.
